Amy Kennedy of The Organising Bee has been selected as a finalist for the 2024 Women Changing the World Awards.

Amy Kennedy of The Organising Bee is thrilled about being selected as a finalist for the 2024 Women Changing the World Awards – Women in Personal Services.

The Women Changing the World Awards presented by Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York and Oprah Winfrey’s all-time favourite guest, Dr. Tererai Trent, celebrate and recognize women achieving outstanding success in areas such as sustainability, humanitarian work, leadership, advocacy, tech, product development, education, health and innovation. The awards are designed to recognize the growing number of women who are leading the way in making the world a better place for us all and inspire other women to answer the call to take action.

Dr. Trent explains, “These exceptional women are here to awaken hearts, give permission to recapture dreams and inspire the women of the world to come together to forge a brighter path for all. The rising of women is the awakening of everybody.”

Easing burdens and improving lives

Amy Kennedy, Professional Organiser and Coach, and the founder of The Organising Bee in Canberra is deeply passionate about instilling order amidst chaos and empowering others. “What truly fuels my passion is the opportunity to give back to others and support my local community. My heart is devoted to easing burdens and improving lives. Through my business, The Organising Bee, I focus on mentoring and coaching clients to create supportive home environments, particularly for families facing challenges such as disabilities, health, or brain-based conditions.”

With expertise in home organising, coaching, and training, she has earned trust as a leader in the Professional Organising industry specifically within Australia. Since 2015, she has provided comprehensive training, coaching, and mentoring in organisational and time management skills, alongside hands-on support for home organisation and decluttering. Amy’s work extends beyond organising homes; it serves as a lifeline to those overwhelmed by life’s challenges, including depression, anxiety, chronic illness, or new diagnoses of ADHD or Autism. Countless testimonials highlight the transformative impact, enabling individuals to make significant decisions and achieve sustainable change. Additionally, as an Advisory Board Member of the Institute of Professional Organisers (IOPO), she dedicated to elevating industry standards and fostering recognition.

Deep-seated passion for seeing others thrive

Amy’s inspiration stems from a deep-seated passion for seeing others thrive. With a natural affinity for organisation, Amy recognised the profound challenges many face in managing time, life, and home environments. Some lacked foundational skills, while others navigated obstacles like ADHD or Autism. Witnessing these struggles ignited Amy’s determination to offer support and alleviate burdens. The genuine gratitude and tangible, sustainable transformations witnessed in her clients’ lives fuel her unwavering commitment. Each positive change reinforces my belief in the power of organisation to empower individuals and families. It’s the heartfelt connections forged, and the tangible impact created that propel Amy forward on this journey of service and advocacy.

Dr. Trent’s vision for these awards is to empower women everywhere to reclaim their sacred dreams and call in women across the globe to unite and pave the way towards a better future for all.
